I am a packrat. As my housekeeper Nina got rid of the clutter that was causing a lot of stress, lost items and wasted time. She organized and arranged rooms I typically dreaded being in with appropriate storage. Since I like to work with wood, she told me about cool finds from used furniture stores and garage sales. When I bought the ones I liked, she suggested colors and finishes to use and then arranged them in really neat ways that made everything look pulled together. What was really cool is the way she organized my ethnic musical instruments into a display in the living room so everyone could enjoy looking at them and playing them. If you want a together, functional home with a fun and upbeat look to it, this gal is a wizard.

At first I didn't think things would work out with Nina. We were hoping she would just tell us what to do... and instead she got us involved in the deeper process of really thinking about the choices we make...how we really deal and don't deal on a daily basis with taking charge of our house and the things in it. We both are part-time dads, and she even helped create spaces that the kids "own" to get them involved. My ex-wants to hire her to deal with the post-divorce mess in her place.
